Strong communities are strengthened by unity, patriotism, and shared cultural values. Celebrating national occasions together fosters pride and brings people closer through meaningful participation and creative expression.
On the occasion of India’s Independence Day (15th August 2020), Sumannalay Foundation organized an Online Video Singing Competition as part of India’s 74th Independence Day celebration. The theme focused on creating awareness about patriotism through the program titled “Sur Sangam Ek Awaz, Shahidoon ke Naam.” The event was conducted in association with the Rotaract Club of DY Patil University, School of Management, Nerul.
Patriotism is expressed not just in words, but through unity, creativity, and respect for the sacrifices of our heroes.
The competition received enthusiastic participation from across multiple cities, including Mumbai, Pune, Delhi, Bangalore, and Meerut, making it a great success. Participants from various age groups, 5 to 18 years, 19 to 35 years, and above 35 years actively took part and showcased their talent.
