Festivals are a time of joy, unity, and sharing. By channeling this spirit towards meaningful causes, celebrations can create a lasting impact in the lives of those in need.
On the auspicious occasion of Ganeshotsav, Sumannalay Foundation launched a unique Pen, Pencil, and Notebook Abhiyan from 20th August to 30th August 2025. Through this initiative, awareness was spread across various Ganesh Mandaps, encouraging devotees to donate books, notebooks, pens, pencils, and even used or unused mobile phones as offerings during Ganesh Utsav.
When devotion meets compassion, even small offerings can transform lives through education and opportunity.
All collected items were donated to Shantivan Ashram School to support the education of tribal children. Dr. Sujata Warrier (President) and Mr. Rudran V. (Treasurer) interacted with the students, motivating and encouraging them.
The initiative was highly appreciated by the school principal, reinforcing the belief that quality education is a right for every child. The program also received recognition through newspaper coverage, highlighting its innovative and impactful approach.
